Welcome to the 6th grade!

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at Frost Lake Magnet School of Technology and Global Studies. We, Ms. Chris Diaz de Leon, Ms. Diane Lund, and Ms. Linda Hjelmgren, will be your child’s homeroom teachers this year. Ms. Robin Bellamy and Ms. Karen Martinsen will be the ELL specialists.

Parents play such an important role in their child’s education.  Research has shown the more parents are involved in their child’s education, the more successful the child is!  Students, parents, and teachers work as a team to help students develop academic and social skills to prepare for their futures.  As teachers, we work hard to develop students’ academic and social skills by creating environments conducive to learning and meaningful learning activities based on research-based best practices. Students are responsible for doing their best in completing assignments and treating everyone respectfully. Parents/guardians need to support their child and make sure they are well-rested and ready to learn.

Please feel free to email anytime or call us at (651) 293-8930 between 10:15 and 11:00 a.m. with any questions, comments, or concerns.  Together we can make this a great year for your child!
