Welcome to room 1123!
This is only my  fifth year at Frost Lake Elementary, but I have been teaching in the St. Paul Schools for many, many years. Previously, I have taught Spanish, 2nd, then 4th grades a total of 21 years at Webster Magnet School in the Selby/Dale neighborhood and one year across town at Groveland Park as a Science Specialist. Besides teaching in St. Paul, adventures with my husband and 3 children have led me to schools in Honduras (1st grade), Minneapolis (Spanish), Saudi Arabia (4th and 6th), and Japan (6th and MS Math/Science).
During my career, I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of St. Thomas, and National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood/Generalist.
I look forward to a year filled with enthusiasm, discovery, and the quest for knowledge.
