Area Learning Center (ALC)
Area Learning Center offers extended day academic classes for students 2 days a week throughout the year. Instruction starts immediately after school and runs for 2 hours. It starts in early October and ends in mid-April. Attending students receive a snack and transportation is provided for qualified students. ALC uses a balanced literacy approach to teaching Language Arts and an integrated math approach for math instruction using Everyday Math materials.
ALC summer session operates 6 hours hours a day for three weeks.
